THE SMARTEST PERSON IN THE ROOM IS SOMETIMES A GROUP OF PEOPLE.
We are really good at providing life planning and investment advice. However, we realize we don’t know everything. Therefore, despite having numerous credentialed CFP® Professionals at TFA, we still feel it’s necessary to collaborate with other third-party professionals to bring first-class service to our clients.
Bringing well-informed experts to the table to share their perspectives helps us develop a personalized strategic plan. Evaluating needs for life, disability, health and long-term care insurance is an essential component of the financial planning process, as is working together to create and monitor estate and tax planning strategies that are proactive, efficient and accountable.
In many cases, we can work with our clients existing professionals, however, if they do not already have a CPA or an estate planning attorney, we have an extensive network of qualified professions that act in our clients best interest. We do not receive referral fees, nor do we receive any revenue sharing with these third-party professionals.
Below we have highlighted a few of our larger strategic partners.
The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) is the country’s leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors—highly trained professionals who are committed to working in the best interests of those they serve.
Our rich history began in 1983 when a group of advisors simply wanted to serve their clients without muddling the relationship with commissions. Since then we have developed high standards in the field and each advisor must sign and renew a Fiduciary Oath yearly and subscribe to our Code of Ethics. It’s all a part of the mission of NAPFA. The association provides support and education for over 3000 practitioners all over the country and is governed by the NAPFA Board of Directors and supported by our four Region Boards.
NAPFA members live by three important values:
- To be the beacon for independent, objective financial advice for individuals and families.
- To be the champion of financial services delivered in the public interest.
- To be the standard bearer for the emerging profession of financial planning.
For more than 35 years, Dimensional has been putting financial science to work for investors by translating compelling research into real-world investment solutions.
The mission of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. is to benefit the public by granting the CFP®certification and upholding it as the recognized standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning.
CFP Board is a non-profit organization acting in the public interest by fostering professional standards in personal financial planning through its setting and enforcement of the education, examination, experience, ethics and other requirements for CFP® certification.
The CFP® certification marks identify professionals who have met the high standards of competency and ethics established and enforced by CFP Board. CFP Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct require CFP® professionals to act in their clients’ best interests.
