Our mission is to help our clients &
colleagues live with intention.

Why Triad
Financial Advisors?

TFA is a Fee-Only, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). In other words, acting in a client’s best interests at all times, not just when it’s convenient for us. This sets us apart from bank and brokerage firms whose ability to act in your best interest may be compromised by commissions, affiliations, revenue sharing agreements, and/or product sales goals. Most importantly, Fee-Only method of compensation is the most transparent and objective method available. As a result, minimizes conflicts to ensure your financial advisor acts as a fiduciary. Therefore, we do not sell products or receive commissions on any products or services.

Finally, we enforce our fiduciary duty by building unique life plans and implementing a disciplined investment strategy utilizing low-cost, institutional strategies.

Giving Back

TFA is very intentional about giving back to the community. Therefore we also enjoy helping our clients give back in an impactful way. Above all, we feel privileged and blessed that we have the opportunity to work with people like you and our TFA team. As a result, we want to be sure to pay that forward where we can.

Click on the organizations we support to see the personal story of why they are important to members of the TFA community.

March Of Dimes

In 2011, CEO Patrick Rush and his wife Christina welcomed their first child, Havana. Unfortunately, Havana was severely premature, born at 26 weeks weighing only 1.5 pounds. She would spend the next 124 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) fighting for her life. Today, Havana is thriving, and the Rush Family and TFA feel it’s important to support the research being done by the March of Dimes on prematurity. Their research helps provide a greater likelihood of successful pregnancies and healthy babies.

Alzheimer’s Association

Cameron Aydlett, Senior Financial Advisor, is passionate about raising money and support for Alzheimer’s Association in honor of a dear friend. She participates in the annual fundraising campaign and has even raised money by promising to crab-walk across the finish line at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She fulfilled her promise!

Family Support Network

The mission of Family Support Network is to provide support, education and caring connections to those who have a child with special needs or who experience a NICU stay. Karen Baleno, Administrative Assistant, and Patrick Rush, CEO, and their families have both received life-changing services from this great organization.

Women To Women

Carter Leinster, President and Founder of TFA, has been instrumental in supporting women in the community for decades. She is a founding member of the Women to Women initiative which is Greensboro’s first permanent grantmaking endowment to engage women in impacting the lives of the community’s women and their families.

ALS Association

TFA is proud to sponsor Face-Off Against ALS in honor of Pete Moffitt, Susan Moffitt’s late husband. All proceeds from the local fundraiser go to the Duke ALS Clinic. Susan and her twin daughters are very active in raising funds and awareness to fight this disease.

United Way of Greater Greensboro

In 2015, United Way of Greater Greensboro launched its very first Family Success Center (FSC) pilot, to provide solutions that reduce poverty in Greensboro neighborhoods. This new, innovative approach brings together partners across nonprofit, business and government sectors to provide integrated servicing that meets the needs of each member of a family. This collaborative model addresses the needs of low-income families by offering integrated services in one accessible location. Services focus on employment, education, financial capability, health and wellness and basic needs. UWGG’s long-term vision is to eradicate poverty in the greater Greensboro community by empowering people to become self-sufficient. A component of UWGG’s strategy to realize this vision is to establish FSCs in Greensboro zip codes experiencing the highest rates of poverty.
