My role at TFA
As the owner and CEO of TFA, my role rests on cementing our legacy as the premier independent firm for wealth management in the Southeast. While we’ve received many awards in excellence from household names like Forbes, Barron’s, and the Financial Times, our ultimate success as a firm is determined by the success of the households we serve, our clients, and the team of people I am fortunate to lead.
My motivation
I am motivated not just to help clients achieve financial independence, but to help them “live with intention” by aligning their financial resources with their life goals, supported by their personal values. While money certainly doesn’t buy happiness, we know it can provide a valuable resource in the pursuit of a more contented and fulfilled life, and I’ve had the privilege to tell the story of how I learned this lesson in my 2020 book, Gain Big and Give Back, published by Forbes Books and honored as an Amazon #1 bestseller.
My life outside of TFA
Outside of TFA, my life in Greensboro revolves around my wife Caroline and our four children, Havana (11), twin boys Walker and Quincy (7), and Stella (6). You will find me coaching and supporting all of their sports teams, while also serving on the Board of Trustees at Canterbury School.
