My role at TFA
As the Head of Wealth Management at TFA, I’m primarily responsible for our unique method of financial planning, the Intentional Planning System, delivered by our dedicated team of financial advisors. As a financial advisor for more than 20 years, and a teacher and trainer of financial planning for more than 14 years, I love seeing inspiration sparked in both clients and the advisors who serve them through the practice of financial life planning.
I draw my motivation from the word “life” in financial life planning, because I believe that is our opportunity as financial advisors—to help people align their financial resources with their priorities in life, through the activation of intention. In addition to helping clients and advisors directly, I’ve also had the privilege to hone my thoughts in writing and on television, as a contributor for Forbes and CNBC, and as the author of three books, most recently, Simple Money (Baker Books).
My life outside of TFA
Outside of TFA, whether as a consumer, fan, or player, I love sports and music, and I have the honor of serving on the worship team at my church, as well as sitting in at an occasional gig with a local band. But my chief loves in life, and the primary recipients of my time outside of work, are my wife, Mika, and my two sons, Kieran and Connor.
